“I was happy, I knew that . While experiencing happiness, we have difficulty in being conscious of it. Only when the happiness is past and we look back on it do we suddenly realize—sometimes with astonishment—how happy we had been. But on this Cretan coast I was experiencing happiness and knew I was happy.”

  1. Hey Fozzie
Congrats on the halfway point on the trail. Any idea when you might reach
Canada? Hopefully the snow comes later this year in the Cascades. Also, I 'd
love to read the book you are planning to write about your adventures. How can I get info on when it is published? And the magazine articles too.
Carry on and continued safe travels.
Sue (the "undercover spy" from Reds Meadow)!
Love the blog. Thanks for sharing

  2. Hey Sue,
    Still working undercover huh?
We are aiming to hit the finish around the end of October, this means bigger mileage than the first half of the walk but the hard part is now over.
If you send me your email address to: fozzieman@yahoo.com I'll send you an email when the book is available.
    Thanks for following!
